The Hunt by Part Time Animals

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! It’s great to be back and posting content regularly again, and hopefully this can continue, it’s just been a rough couple of months, but we’re back with a new blog post! Today we’re talking about our wonderful friends in Part Time Animals and their new track The Hunt. I’m super stoked to be talking about this track.

Part Time Animals have released their latest single The Hunt, which is about trophy hunting. As most of you will be aware trophy hunting is quite a controversial topic, but The Hunt is a track against trophy hunting. Therefore there’s a fair bit of anger voiced through this track. I absolutely adore this track, I love when bands use their platform, whether large or small to voice their opinions on controversial topics such as trophy hunting. To me, that’s what punk and the sub genres of punk are all about. It’s about voicing your opinion on political topics, and social issues. It’s about taking a stance on a topic and voicing it in a creative way. And therefore, I love that Part Time Animals have been able to do that in regards to trophy hunting.

This is a punchy track, it’s loud, and it’s allowed to be. It has a very similar vibe to Myopia, the debut single from Part Time Animals, and it’s just an all round great track. I love this track to bits, I think it’s great. There’s been a few people hating on this track on social media, but I’m a big fan of this track and the sound. I love that this is a track talking about a controversial topic, I love the whole feel of this track, and the vocals are great. There’s a really nice flow to the track, and it’s just got an overall, great feel to it. I really enjoy this track, and it’s just nice to see music talking about real world topics and issues. If you are a fan of the sound of Myopia, then you’re probably going to really enjoy the vibe of this track.

I love the whole vibe of the track, but that chorus is just great. It’s got such a great feel to it, and I’m just here for the track. I do throughly enough this track, and I’ve had it stuck in my head for the past couple weeks. It’s definitely got that Enter Shikari vibe to it, and I’m just here for this track. If you haven’t heard it yet, then please go give it a listen. I love this track, and I cannot recommend checking it out enough. Please go give this track a spin, because it’s just incredible.

I’m more than happy to give this track a solid 5 out of 5 lemons. It’s a great track, and I expected nothing less from Part Time Animals. Please go show the lads some love.
