Recent Releases: Better Anyway and Pavé

Woo!! We’re back! I didn’t post the past couple of weeks because I was caught up with new work projects and writing a piece for a zine. So, last week was just chaos! But I’m back with one of a few posts this week! Today we’re talking to do a recent releases post on Pavé and Better Anyway.

First up let’s talk about Pavé and their latest single I Need To Know. This track opts for a slightly different sound to some of the past releases we’ve heard from this wonderful lot, however, I am in love with this track. This may be my favourite track they’ve released to date. I don’t think much could top this track. It’s phenomenal, and has such a wonderful feel. It’s got some beautiful and insane tempo changes within it, and truly, I am so blown away by this track. This is one of my favourite releases currently. I’m literally obsessed with this track. I don’t know what I expected from this track, but it definitely wasn’t what we got from this track. I am obsessed with this track. Truly magnificent. Such a fantastic range in this track, and it just hits the spot perfectly. It’s just the best track that we’ve had from Pavé. Well and truly obsessed with it, absolutely adore every single second of this track, so I highly recommend you going and checking it out! This is going to make its way into heavy rotation. I’m truly in love with every single element and second of this track. It’s beautiful, and it’s everything you could ever hope for. This track is without a doubt a solid 5 out of 5 lemons. I’d give it more if I could, because it truly is that great.

This leads us onto talking about Better Anyway. It feels like forever since we last spoke about this lovely lot, but that’s because it has been quite a while since we’ve mentioned them. We love Better Anyway, they never fail to disappoint, and they do just hit the spot every time they release a track! So when they approached me and asked if I’d be up for doing a review I of course, said yes! So straight off the track is radiating Knuckle Puck sort of vibes. Can’t quite pin point what it is that gives me those Knuckle Puck vibes but it’s just got that feel, and a bit of Real Friends as well. This is an impeccable track, such a wonderful feel to it. Obsessed with the whole sound and feel of the track. This has such a lovely feel to it, and it’s exceeded all my expectations. I’m such a big fan of it. This track hits the spot and does exactly what you want it to do and more. I’m so blown away by the feel of this track, I could listen to this track on repeat for hours and not get bored of it. Truly I’m so blown away by this track. This is such a belter of a track. I don’t know what I expected from it, but I certainly didn’t expect it to be as good as it is. This is one of my favourite tracks we’ve had from Better Anyway. This truly is just everything I could have hoped it would be and more. Overall, I’m going to have to give this track another solid 5 out of 5 lemons. I’m truly just so blown away by this track. Not one element of this track I could criticise. From the guitar, to the bass, to the vocals and everything in between. Everything about this song gets a solid 5 out of 5 lemons from me. I’m truly so blown away by it. I love this track so much, and I can easily see it making its way into heavy rotation.
