The Return…

Welcome to the first post of the new era. It’s been a while, it’s been a good 6 months since I even contemplated writing a new blog post. Part of that reason is because life just got in the way, between work, and my personal life, blogging was just not something I was gravitating towards. Another reason was because I somewhat fell out of love with music. Whilst, yes, music is a big love of mine, I just didn’t have it in me to be keeping up with current releases, and I could not bring my brain to the point of being able to push myself to review new music. I changed. However, we have a new site now, one that I feel like is more of a representation of me, and the direction I want this blog to go in.
Some of you may be aware that me and my fiancé have recently started a Twitch channel, we’re streaming The Sims 4, and we want to talk about new releases at the same time. Which, for me, is the best of both worlds, it means I can still review and hype up new music, even on the days when I cannot get my neurodivergent brain to function. That, however, doesn’t mean that there won’t be posts on here, because believe me, there will be. My schedule may be a bit manic, and chaotic, but I am manic and chaotic a lot of the time. I suffered with having a back log a lot before, but I’m hoping this new structure will help me reduce any future backlogs.
So, I will be back shortly. I might not just strictly do reviews anymore, because I also think that was part of what caused my burn out. So, if I want to do some more fun or creative posts that are of course, still music related, then I’m going to do that. If any of the bands I worked with before my hiatus, want to work with me again I would LOVE that, some of y’all just can’t get rid of me either. How I decide to review releases will be up to me, however, I want to make it clear now, that I will NEVER charge for my reviews, but I will always ask that if you ask me to do a review for you, and I tag you in the post, please share the post. A lot of bands over the past few years have asked me to do reviews for them, and when they go live, they won’t even acknowledge the review I’ve been asked to do, sometimes this is because I’m not singing a songs praise, but if I think a song is lacklustre, or subpar, I’m going to say that.
Please find all my socials below, some join us on Twitch, and our gaming @ is MetaphoricallyLudicrous. IYKYK.
