Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today I'm super hyped to finally be talking about Aim High's debut album, Local Band Forever. I know there's been a bit of a delay about getting this post up but honestly, we've been booked solid, but we're finally here to talk about Aim High again.

Local Band Forever is a 12 track album, that features some of the singles we've come to know and love. A lot of the tracks on the album have been released previously, however, there are a few new tracks. I never go into mass amounts of detail if I've already reviewed the track, or it's not a new song to me, as a lot of my initial reactions aren't too memorable. After a song has been out for so long, I either like it, love it or hate it. So, I do apologise if this isn't the most in depth album review ever. Anyway, let's get into this. The album opens with $EZCORE$. This version is a little different to the version we've heard before, as it has a different spoken intro, but I quite like the added intro as I feel it's a great introduction to the album. Then we get to the song we've come to know and love, featuring the wonderful Dan O'Connor from Four Year Strong. I did a full review of this track, and I still love this track so much! I think this is still a wonderful track and one I would still recommend checking out. Next comes, Pajamas in Public, which I mean mood. This is a decent track and it features Reliance. I believe this to be one of the new tracks to the album, but I really like it. It has that classic Aim High feel and vibe to it, and it's just generally an enjoyable track to listen to. The tempo changes in the track are pretty obvious and they're really good. I love every single element of this track. I think this is a wonderful track and I would highly recommend checking it out. It's honestly insane. This is a solid track, and I can see myself jamming this track a lot. I'm pretty impressed with this track.

Third up is Eton Edicus, I did a full review of this track. I liked it then, I like it now. I think this is a solid track and one that I'd recommend checking out. It's still a decent track, it doesn't pack the same punch as some of the other tracks on the album, but this is still a solid track, and it features safehold. I really dig this track. It's decent. Following on is Better Than This which featured Broadside. Again, I've spoken about this track before. I loved it when I first heard it, and I still love it now. I think it's got such a nice feel and vibe to it, and it's just a solid track and one that I would really recommend checking out. This is honestly still an impressive track, and if you haven't heard it yet, you should give it a listen. Now we move onto, the ever-popular Gender Neutral Happy Meal featuring Belmont and safehold. I think everyone loves this track. It's catchy, it packs a punch, it's still as incredible as it was when we first spoke about it and when I first heard it. This was the first track I ever heard from Aim High and I fell in love instantly. If you've somehow managed to not hear this track already, go check it out. It's fantastic. Sixth on the album is Counterparts featuring Brendan Murphy. This is another solid track. I really rate this track, I love the whole vibe and feel of it. It's a surreal track, and it's just got so many incredible elements within the track that it's hard not to love it. It's one of the heavier tracks on the album, and I love it. There's nothing I can fault about it. It's definitely a solid track. Next comes one of my personal favourites, Drag This Out featuring In Her Own Words. I loved this song before, and I love it now. I just love In Her Own Words, so for them to do a song with Aim High is next level for me. I love everything about this track, and I really can't fault it. Honestly, such a phenomenal track, and if you haven't heard it already, please check it out. This is a slower track, but it still packs a punch. Now comes Home Is Where The Hea(r)t Is featuring Sleeping With Sirens and Like Pacific. I love all bands featured on this track, and again, I've reviewed this song previously. I've said how incredible it was then, and how incredible it is now. It's just such an insane track. It really packs a punch, and it does everything you want it to do and more. I love this track. I think it's insane. It's honestly a great track. Cannot recommend it enough. Track 9 is Empty Streets featuring Driveways, and I've spoken about this track again as well. I loved this track then, I love it now. It's an incredible track. It's solid. It's such a great track, and again, if you haven't already heard the track, then go check it out. It packs a punch, and it does everything you could want it to do, and more. Track 10 and we're nearing the end, comes in the form of Clear & Concise featuring glimmers. This again is a decent track, and the touch of Maggie's vocals is a nice touch. I actually think that this is surprisingly one of my favourite tracks off of the album. I think this track has a really nice feel to it, and whilst it is one of the softest tracks on the album, and is a gentle track, it's still decent. I really rate this track, and I think it's solid.

The penultimate track on the album is Penny Lane featuring Wilmette. This is another decent track. The intro had me thinking this wasn't my favourite track on the album, but when it kicks in, this track goes HARD! This is an intense track, with tempo changes that will engage the masses. I love the mix of vocals on this track as well. This is honestly a phenomenal track. I love this track, and to me, it's similar to the likes of Maniac by Four Year Strong. I love this track, there are so many surreal elements on this track, so would definitely say this is a stand out track on the album. The final track on the album is another track we've heard before, and that is Here Lies Kakarot's Hopes & Dreams. I love this track, and I think it's such an impressive track. I love the whole feel and vibe of this track. I think I mentioned this track in the introducing post, and I liked it back when I first heard it, and I like it now. I love the added vocals from The Home Team. Honestly, such an incredible track. This is just everything I could want and more. I love the whole feel of it, and I think it's just incredible. It's without a doubt one of my favourite tracks off of Local Band Forever. In conclusion, I love this album, and this could make it to the lemon awards for album of the year. I love this album. I just think it's insane. I cannot get enough of this album, and from start to finish it's phenomenal. This album is a masterpiece. I'm obsessed with it, and it really is a work of art. I can't fault anything about it, and it's just insane. I'd highly recommend checking this album out if you haven't already. I'm going to give Local Band Forever a solid 5 out of 5 lemons! I love this album.
