Breathe by Keep This Up

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we’re finally talking about Keep This Up again! It’s been a while, they’re such a great band and they’re super lovely! However, their return with their new single comes with a twist. The lineup of the band has changed, the band now features a new lead vocalist and a new lead guitarist. So, with new lineup comes new music, and they’ve released a new single titled Breathe. 

I love the vibe of this track. It’s got that classic pop-punk sound to it, a mix of nostalgic pop punk and new wave. I really like this track. It’s still not over refined which is something I’ve always loved about Keep This Up. The actual flow of the track, and the quality and just everything engineering wise on the track has clearly improved. Definitely has a more professional sound to it compared to some of the previous releases. 

I do actually really love the feel of this track, I just think it’s great and it offers such a wonderful listening experience. I’m a big fan of this track and it definitely hits the spot. It’s great. This has exceeded all expectations I had for it, and I’m truly blown away by it! Well done to Keep This Up on this track, because it’s insane! 

No drastic/major tempo changes, but there’s some subtle ones in there. It’s definitely a song that you could listen to on repeat for a while and continually find new elements of the track to appreciate. I can’t really fault this track, it’s got a great sound and feel to it.  I knew this track would be good, but I didn’t quite expect it to be as good as it is! This truly is a magnificent track and one I’m really impressed with! 

In conclusion, I’m really impressed with this track! There’s not one element that I dislike on this track, I think it’s a decent song and you can tell just how well Keep This Up are improving with each track they release. Really loving this track, I expect it to make its way into heavy rotation, and I’m generally really impressed with it. If you haven’t heard it already, then go give it a spin, see what you think. I think it’s a great song, definitely a mix of nostalgic pop-punk and new wave pop-punk. So yeah, really like the track and overall I’m going to give it a 5 out of 5 lemons. Great track, great band. It’s great.
