Welcome/welcome back to the blog! I’m back again and this time we’re talking about a new band to the blog, SALT. I was won around by this band when they sent me an email telling me they were a Scottish post-punk pop band. Let’s be realistic, everyone knows that’s the way to my heart. Scottish bands just have my heart.

So, a week ago (pretty much) SALT released their latest track titled Boxcar. They do also have an album out, but currently, we’re just reviewing the track. I will review the album at a later date but my current schedule only had room for a single for this week.

So, Boxcar threw me off slightly with the cover artwork, but actually, I quite like the track. It’s reminiscent of another track I’ve reviewed this year, I just can’t place my finger on the track. I expected the track to be a lot heavier and darker sounding compared to what it actually is. I do actually really rate this track though.

Although, not my favourite track I’ve heard in recent times, it’s definitely not a bad track. It’s a decent track. It’s quite a nice track and it’s easy and enjoyable to listen to. It’s one of the better songs I’ve heard recently and I feel as if I could listen to it for a good few hours and not get bored of it. It’s just a great track in general and I’d recommend checking out the track. It’s solid! It’s a good track, and it packs a decent enough punch. It may not have extreme tempo changes or a catchy hook to it, but it’s still a great track and one I’d recommend checking out.

Overall, I’d give the track a 4 out of 5 lemons. It’s decent, not my favourite track, but it’s a decent one so it’s got to be a 4 out of 5 lemons. It’s enjoyable, whilst not being overly boring.
