Welcome/welcome back to the blog! I am finally back, and to compensate from my absence, for the majority of this following week, there will be a new blog post, live at 7pm BST. To kick the week off we’re talking about lonelylife, who are a new band to the blog, but this band features Jordan from Hightail, which is why we’re here, because Jordan reached out to me and asked me to review the track, but life has been a bit hectic, so this post got delayed, but we’re here finally! So, let’s stop the waffling and get into this!
This track (slowdance in my bedroom) is the debut single from lonelylife, this actually dropped about a month ago, but we’re finally here to talk about it.
Considering this track has a slightly longer intro, I still really love it. Which, we all know, I am terrible for discarding songs if their intro is longer than 35 seconds, but slowdance in my bedroom actually has an into closer to 50 seconds. However, I absolutely adore this track. I don’t know what I expected from this track, but it’s exceeded all expectations. I absolutely adore this track, and this might be one of the best releases of the year so far.
There’s just something about this track that draws me in. slowdance in my bedroom is such a surreal track, and it’s just such an incredible track. I love the lyrics to this track, and I know for a fact, this track is going to be working its way into heavy rotation. I am well, and truly blown away by this track. If this track is anything to go off, lonelylife might be a band to watch out for. slowdance in my bedroom is such a phenomenal track, and one I would highly recommend giving a listen to! Well and truly blown away by this. The vocals, the guitar, the drums. Just every single element of this track is phenomenal, and enticing.
I cannot recommend giving this track a listen enough, if you haven’t heard this song already, then you really need to go and change that. This truly is such an incredible track, and it deserves so much more love and appreciation, which is why I’m more than happy to give slowdance in my bedroom a solid 5 out 5 lemons! I truly cannot recommend this song enough, it really is an incredible track, and I know I’ll be listening to this a lot.
