Detriment by Better Anyway

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! I know, three weeks in a row, shocking behaviour for me.  Today we’re going to be talking about the latest track from Better Anyway, who we haven’t spoke about for quite some time.

Anybody who’s been around long enough to remember the release of Better Anyway’s EP, Low, but Looking Up will know I absolutely adore Better Anyway. They’re extremely underrated and they just kill it with every track they put out. And they’re proving that statement is still true with Detriment. It’s giving Knuckle Puck vibes, and I’m here for it. I just love anything that this lot put out. They know how to make some good pop-punk music and they deserve so much more love and support than they get.

I went into this track having fairly high expectations, and they’ve exceeded them. Without a doubt, this track is even more incredible than I ever could have thought it would be. I can’t pick fault with one element of this track. It’s just incredible, the vocals, the guitar, the drums, every single aspect of this song just works together so seamlessly and that’s the thing, this track sounds better than some tracks we here from bands who dominate the scene, and that’s why I love small bands so much, because the talent is next level. Genuinely, one of the best bands I’ve ever featured on here. And they’re such a phenomenal band.

The lyrics on this track, are relatable. The track is catchy, it’s got a good feel and vibe to it. It’s an infectious track, one I know for a fact I’ll be listening to on repeat. One that really does impress me. One that really has impressed me. One that caught my attention from the first couple of seconds, and held my attention for the 4 minute listening time that the track boasts.

If you haven’t already heard this track, then I would highly recommend you go and give it a spin. Give it a listen and see why I think this track is as phenomenal as it is. See why I’m more than confident in giving this track a solid 5 out of 5 lemons, and why I would strongly recommend everybody goes and listens to Detriment. Seriously, Better Anyway are killing it and this is proof of that! I cannot recommend this track enough!
