Blossom by Keep This Up

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! I know shocking, 2 posts in a week? Maybe, 2024 is the year where the spark returns (let’s not jinx it though). Today, we’re going to be talking about the latest track from Keep This Up. It’s been a while since I’ve actually featured this lovely lot on the blog, but that’s because of the rut. But I’ve still been watching from the sidelines and they’ve been killing it with their recent releases, so let’s kick it off by talking about their latest track, Blossom.

I love the tempo of this track, and the dark, grungy aspects to this track. I also love the mix of rough and clean vocals, whilst not a drastic amount of rough vocals feature on the track, it does add a bit more pizzazz to the track. It’s sort of got an Asking Alexandria feel to it, and I’m here for it. Vibing to this track, takes me back to my teenage years, and I’m here for it. I genuinely love the vibe of this track.

There’s some really interesting elements in this track, and that breakdown is where it’s at. Everyone knows I’m a sucker for a good tempo change, so a breakdown in a track does bring me an immense level of joy. I’m here for it.

Genuinely, I think Blossom is an incredible track, and I like the added touch of some little electronic elements on the track. It just adds some substance to the track, and makes it stand out from the crowd. Genuinely, such a phenomenal track and one I can see myself putting into regular rotation.

I have to admit, I genuinely do absolutely love the sound that Keep This Up seems to be putting out currently, I loved their original sound, but there’s just something nostalgic about the current sound. It’s a decent track, and one I would highly recommend checking out if you want that nostalgic feeling, it genuinely does have an AA feel to it, and it does just remind of the scene dominating tracks from 2010-2015.

Blossom is a song you could well and truly lose your shit to because it’s just that sort of track. It’s got such a nice mix of elements in it like the rough and clean vocals, and I genuinely, absolutely adore this track. I’d highly recommend you give it a spin, if you haven’t already, and show Keep This Up some love whilst you’re at it, because they truly are such a great band and they’re really lovely too!

I’m happy to give this track a 5 out of 5 lemons. I really like the different elements on this track, and I just like the whole vibe and feel of it. It’s incredible. Such a phenomenal track and one I’d highly recommend to anybody willing to give it a listen.
