All About You by Keep This Up
Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we’re back and talking about our friends in Keep This Up! This lovely lot dropped their latest single All About You last Friday, and we love Keep This Up, so we were super stoked about this!
Keep This Up always impress us, so I went into this track with high expectations. This track has a similar sound to some of the previous tracks. It’s a solid track, I’m not saying that this is coming for my favourite tracks, but it is still a solid track and one that I’m impressed with. I do love the sound and feel of this track. It’s just got such a nice feel to it and it really does pack a punch. There’s some subtle tempo changes in the track, but nothing major. It’s a good track though, it’s not overly refined, but it doesn’t need to be for the sound Keep This Up are going for. However, the riffs on this track. They really did win me over. That was a stand out element of the track for me.
I’m very open about not being a massive fan of instrumentals in tracks, however, the one featured on All About You isn’t too long, and it’s decent. It’s not the same throughout, and that’s one of my favourite things. That’s why I normally find instrumentals boring, if you’re putting an instrumental on a track, I want something more just to keep me engaged and not drifting away from the track.
I do actually really like this track, I’m not too sure what I expected from this track, I knew it was going to be good, but I just didn’t know how good. However I can safely say, it’s solid! It’s definitely exceeded all expectations I had for the track, and I’m here for it. It’s a great track, and I’m super stoked to hear what comes next for Keep This Up! Keep This Up are such such incredible and lovely band, so if you haven’t heard them already, go and give them a listen. And if you have heard them before, but not this track, then please, go give this track a spin. It’s solid. I loved the guitar and lyrics on this track. Those were the stand out elements for me, and I really think those elements have helped win me over with this track.
It’s such a great track, and that’s why I’m happy to give All About You 5 out of 5 lemons. Whilst, it’s not giving my favourite Keep This Up tracks a run for their money, it’s certainly a good song, and it’d probably be around the middle on my order of favourites. I really like this track, and I’d highly recommend going and checking it out if you haven’t already!
