Recent Releases: My Latest Failure, Through Your Eyes and Autumn Fires
Welcome/welcome back to the blog! It feels good to be back, and today we’re talking recent releases! Today we’ll be talking about the latest releases from, My Latest Failure and Autumn Fires! I love both of these bands so I’m super stoked that they’ve both released new music recently, and now we get to talk about it!
Let’s kick it off by talking about My Latest Failure! We love these guys, they’re a little bit on the heavier side of punk, but that’s why we love them! They always hit the spot, and their sound just stands out from the crowd! A really big fan of these guys and I love everything they put out! Bad Dreams is no exception to that. This track might actually be my favourite one they've put out so far actually. This has a great feel to it, there's moments when it's not as heavy, and then there's moments where it's just as heavy as we'd anticipate. I'm a big fan of this track, and if you've heard it, you'll know why.
Bad Dreams is an incredible track, this track leaves nothing to the imagination. The vocals on this track are perfection, I’m well and truly obsessed with every single second of this track! I’m in love with this track. There’s a nice mix of clean and rough vocals, and some incredible drums on the track too! Whilst every element of the track is superb, the drums are the stand out musical element for me! I’m a big fan of the vibe of this track and it just hits the spot for me. I’m truly in love with this track, and I do believe it’s the best track that My Latest Failure have released to date! It’s got a catchy vibe to it, and some lines really do hit the spot for me. I think this is an incredible track, it’s really impressive and I’m just in love with it. This track is everything I could have hoped it would be and more! I’m truly in love with it! It’s great, and I can’t get over just how insane it it! My Latest Failure always hit the spot for me, and this track just proves how insane they are! Whilst I don’t think this is the heaviest track they’ve put out, it’s still a great track, and I actually love the balance on this track! It’s really impressive and it really have blown me away. I love it. Every single second of this track is incredible, and I can’t complain about one element of the track. This is a great track, and I’d you haven’t heard it already, you should go and check it out, because it is really impressive! I’m in love with this track, and you 100% have to listen to it you’re a fan of your punk tracks. I do absolutely adore this track, and I’d highly recommend giving it a listen.
To conclude, My Latest Failure have put out another incredible single! One that really does hit the spot, and prove that they deserve a lot more love and support than they get, and therefore I’m confident in giving Bad Dreams a solid, 5 out of 5 lemons! Now, let's move onto talking about Lifelines by Autumn Fires! We love Autumn Fires! They know what they're doing, and they do it well. They're a band that never fails to impress, and they really are such a great band! So, of course, we were super stoked to hear that they were releasing a new track, I was hyped! This is another track from their upcoming EP, and it hits the spot!
I absolutely love this track! It's got such a great feel to it, and the tempo changes on this track are everything. This track has exceeded all expectations, and I'm well and truly blown away by it! It's truly perfection! The whole feel of this track is everything. I knew this track would be good, but I didn't quite expect it to be this good, and it's just insane! I love it. There's just something about this track that makes me want to listen to it on repeat, for hours. Yes, it's catchy but it's also got that infectious sound to it! Like holy shit, this track is everything! I'm in love with everything about this track, and I can't quite comprehend just how insane this track is! It's just such an anthem, I'm in love with this track! Like not even enough words to explain just how phenomenal this track is! Truly, Lifelines has left me speechless. I can't comprehend just how incredible this track is! If you haven't heard it already, you NEED to change that! This is definitely in the running for song of the year. This is just everything, I truly have no words. Autumn Fires always kill it, but I definitely didn't expect it to be as good as it is. True perfection, this, in my opinion, is the best track that Autumn Fires have released so far! I am literally in love with this track! This track proves just how incredible Autumn Fires are!
I'm more than happy to give this track a solid 5 out of 5 lemons! This truly is perfection! Can't even comprehend just how insane this track is! I love every single second of this track, and if you haven't heard it already, then I'd highly recommend you change that. This is such a bop, and I'm so blown away by it!

Finally, let's talk about our friends in Through Your Eyes. They've released a new track titled, Sink Below. We love Through Your Eyes around here, and they're just such a lovely band! I absolutely adore them, and they're just so lovely! They put out great music, and I think they're far too underrated!
Sink Below is a sad track. This isn't a loud, intense track. This is quite a slow song, it does build up, to be a bit heavier and a bit louder. It's one of those tracks that just gradually gets more intense, and I love that. That is a big yes for me. Love it. I'm also a sucker for a good depression song, and that's exactly what this track is. It's one of those songs that would be in heavy rotation when I feel depressed. It's a track that's going to be in heavy rotation anyway because it's Through Your Eyes, and they're incredible, but this is definitely going to be played a lot during my weekly meltdowns. Of course, the lyrics hit home, and they're not the happiest, but I'm here for it. And this is truly everything I could have wanted from this track and more. I love it. It's beautiful, and those vocals! Those vocals are just extraordinary. Truly, wonderful. I love it. I truly can't get over just how incredible this track is. I'm so blown away by it! It's everything I could have hoped for and more. I love every single second of this track, and I know for a fact, this will be played so much, and it will, without a doubt, be in heavy rotation.
If you haven't heard this track already, then please go and check it out, because it's beautiful. I can't fault one second of this track, and I truly am in love with this track! It's incredible, it's beautiful, it's hard-hitting but it's just so good! I truly, love this track, and I'm just so blown away by it!
