Welcome/welcome back to the blog! So, I'm a little late to the review on this one, because this EP's been out a few weeks now, but we're here, we're doing the review, and we're going to be talking about Out for the Count by A Few Too Many. The EP is 7 tracks long and has a listening time of just under 25 minutes, so let's get into this!  Out for the Count opens with Unhealthy, which is a single that we've done a full review on, and one that I still love to bits! This is a phenomenal track, and it packs such a punch. Such a great track, and the perfect opening track to this EP. It's just as incredible now as it was when it was first released. I love every second of this, and it's everything you could hope it would be and more. I love everything about this track, and if you haven't heard it yet, then where have you been? This track is perfection. It's intense, it's catchy and it packs a punch. Such a solid track and one I cannot recommend enough! Next comes History, which, come on, this is just such a surreal single. This still holds the same power as it did when it was first released. That chorus still goes hard, and I still have this in heavy rotation. This is a track that no matter when it comes on, we will never skip because it's just solid. I love this even more than I did when I reviewed it first, and that chorus is just everything! Still, and I've had the privilege of being able to use that chorus on someone, so it's great. This is just a top tier track, and I cannot hype this song enough. Now we come to, Someday. Which, this was another single that I'm sure a lot of people know and love. It's got a great feel to it, and it's just such a hype song. This is just a peak track, and I love every second of it. I love the beat to this track, this is a perfect track, and one that could make anybody want to jump around to, and it's just that beat that wins me over every time. This is just such an anthem, and everyone that's heard it knows it. Now comes the title track, Out for the Count. I love this track. It's different to the others, and that's why I love it. It's chilled out, it's soft (well for the first half of the track), it's that song that you put your torch on for. It's one of those tracks, it's beautiful, and it's great. It's a perfect halfway point on the EP, and I really like that the EP has that change within the dynamic of the tracks. It's a great track, and one I cannot recommend enough. It's phenomenal. That tempo change will never get old either, and that's one of my favourite things about this track, that tempo change! A Few Too Many really killed it when they did this track. We're now onto the last 3 tracks, and the first of those is Bitter. This sees the sound change back to the sound similar to that of Somebody, and it's another track that you know you could lose your shit to. It's phenomenal, and I love the punch it packs. It's definitely a track to get you moving, and it's just insane. I love every single second of this track, and this is one of those songs that I could never get sick of, it's just insane. I love every single second of it, and I cannot recommend checking this track out enough. This is without a doubt in my top 3 tracks off the EP, it's just insane. I love every single second of this track, and it's got a nice little breakdown in there, and it's just everything I could have wanted from an A Few Too Many track and more. The penultimate track comes in the form of, Back To You. This maybe isn't the same sort of losing your shit to track, but this is one of those tracks you know you're going to have a good time whilst it's playing. You know this track hits the spot, and you know it's everything you could want and more. It's got a less intense feel to it, but it's still intense, and I still want to scream this track in the car. This is one of those tracks you can't listen to quietly, and it's just insane! I love this track and everything about it! It's incredible, it's another solid track from A Few Too Many. The final track is another single which is Haze. Another phenomenal track, and one that has a great feel and vibe to it. I love everything about this. I love the lyrics to this track as well, they're relatable. It's a great track, and whilst it isn't on the same level as some of these previous tracks, it's just as good, it's just different, but with EP's and albums I want to be able to tell the difference between the tracks. I absolutely love this track, and it's the perfect track to close the EP on. Phenomenal track. In conclusion, I love this EP! This is a solid 5 out of 5 lemons EP. Not one bad track, it's got tracks you're going to lose your voice screaming to, but it's also got tracks that you know you're going to lose your mind to and have the best time if they're playing. I cannot pick fault at any of these tracks. Not one bad second on any of the tracks. Every second this EP goes on for, is time well spent. It's insane, and if you haven't heard it already, please go change that! Where To Find A Few Too Many; SpotifyTwitterInstagramFacebookYouTube Apple Music Where To Find Me: Here on LifeIsALemon more days than not, at 7pm (UK Time) TwitterInstagramFacebookMy Novel Small Band Appreciation Playlist (Spotify)For all blog related enquires contact me at myvoicebrandnew@hotmail.com
