Better Weather by Only Liars
Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today, we’re featuring a band we’ve never featured before. Only Liars are such an incredible band, and I’ve adored them for a while, but they’ve just dropped a new track last week, featuring Joey from In Her Own Words, and if anybody knows me, I love IHOW. They’re on par with We Were Sharks for me, and coincidentally, that’s how i came to know of Only Liars, as they had Randy on a track they did previously. So, let’s quit the rambling and let’s talk about the ever so lovely, Only Liars and their latest single Better Weather.
With a listening time around 3 and half minutes, this track holds my attention for the entire duration. I love this track. I don’t know what they put in this track, but I am hooked on this track. It’s loud, it’s anthemic, it’s a track I would full blown lose my shit to if I heard it live, and this is another incredible track from Only Liars, and the bridge on this track is like a drug, because there’s just something insane about it. there’s some nice tempo changes, and the lyrics of this track. Everything I could ever want, and more. I absolutely adore this track, and from the teasers they were posting on socials, I knew I would love this track, but it’s exceeded the expectations.
That’s something I love, the bits that have really blown me away, and well and truly won me over on this track, are the bits that weren’t teased on socials, so it was just incredible to get that excitement when listening to a new track. The track wasn’t overplayed before it was even released, which seems to be becoming more and more of a trend in the way of socials currently, but Better Weather thankfully, was not like that. I know without a doubt, I will be listening to this track a lot. I will have this track in heavy rotation, and I’m here for it. It’s such a phenomenal track, and one that has really blown me away.
Only Liars deserve so much more love and support, because they’re out here dropping tracks like Better Weather, and this is one of the best tracks I’ve heard recently. It’s such a great track, and one I really love. Please, go and give this track a spin if you haven’t already, and if you’ve never heard of the lovely lot that is Only Liars, go give them a listen. If you like some good pop-punk, that’s on the heavier side of pop-punk, sort of similar to our wonderful friends in Protect Your Heart, then you’ll love Only Liars. They’re incredible. Such a wonderful band who really know what they’re doing, and they just constantly exceed expectations. And I mean come on, guest vocals from Joey Fleming? Yes. I don’t think I need to convince you anymore, so please, go give this lovely lot a listen, and show Better Weather the love and support it deserves.
This track is without a doubt a solid 5 out of 5 lemons. Like, truly, such a phenomenal track that has blown me away. Please go show it some much deserved love!
