Drive Thru by Hometruths

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we're going to be talking about Hometruths again! It feels like forever since we last spoke about this lovely lot, and they truly are a magnificent band! They always hit the spot, and they know what they're doing, so let's skip the waffling and get into this!  Hometruths always kill it, and this track is no exception to that! This is a softer and more chilled out, not too intense track, it's a good track. It's not what we're used to from Hometruths, but it's still solid. It's not as punchy, and intense, but it's still got a great feel to it, and it's still a phenomenal track. It's got a surreal feel to it, and I just love it. It's such a great track, and it's just a nice, refreshing change. This doesn't beat the likes of So Over You and fan favourite, Soundtrack, it's still a fantastic track, and it's just different to what we're used to, but I really like that about it. You ca

Therefore I Am by The Blams

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we're going to be talking about the latest single from our friends in The Blams, so let's skip the waffling and get into this!  Straight off, this is not a track to play around my dog because the intro features a dog barking and she thinks that means she can bark. However, this track does offer a darker, grungier sound and feel to it than some of the other tracks we've heard from The Blams. This is definitely a darker track and one that has more muted vocals in comparison to the instrumental aspects of the track. It's a great track, but that is something to note. This track is also a shorter, punchier track, like yesterday's track was, this track has a listening time of under 3 minutes, so whilst not beating Hightail, it's still short and sweet. I will say that these shorter tracks that seem to be the trend currently, are so much punchier than their longer counterparts. These are shorter songs done right. Every second of

Forever by Hightail

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! We're back and today we're talking about our wonderful friends in Hightail! They've just dropped a new single called forever, and they reached out to me a couple weeks back and asked me if I'd do press for it, and we all know I don't say no. So, let's stop the waffling and get into this!  This track is quite short with a listening time of under 2 minutes, but every second is phenomenal. This has to be one of my favourite Hightail tracks, the whole feel of it is immaculate, the whole vibe, just everything. It's loud, it's punchy, it's anthemic. It's got a great feel to it and it's just everything. It's such a surreal track and I'm truly in love with this track! Every second of it is incredible, and I'm just in love with it, and it truly is a tune and a half. It's truly something else. It's got a classic blink-182 feel to it and I'm truly in love with this track.  It's got a differ

Tyrant by Pavé

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we're talking about our wonderful friends in Pavé again! A little over two weeks ago, they dropped a new single titled Tyrant, so let's skip the rambling and get into this!  I love Pavé; I think they're an incredible band and one that really do hit the spot every time! They seemingly get better and better with the more tracks they release.  Tyrant has a bit of a grungy feel to it. I like it a lot, it’s got a nice groove to it, and those vocals on the chorus are where it’s at. I absolutely love the feel of it.  This is possibly my favourite track from  Pavé to date. This track just hits the spot for me. It's got an incredible feel to it, it's got a great groove to it, and it's just an incredible track. There's not one aspect of this track that I could criticise. It's not a stereotypical catchy track, but it's still catchy, and I know this track is going to be making its way into heavy rotation. I love everythi
