Resurrection by Embxrs

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we're going to be talking about the lovely lot that is Embxrs. Last year, I did a post talking about the 'lockdown sessions' Embxrs did, and I'm so happy to be here, talking to you, about their debut single.

I love Embxrs, I knew this song would be great. Their lockdown sessions were incredible, and they're just such an impressive band. So, I was really hyped for their debut single, and I had pretty high expectations.

From the intro alone, I knew I was going to love this track, and then when Abi's vocals kicked in, I was well and truly in love with this track. The tempo changes are subtle but still noticeable, and they just sound so good! The whole vibe of the track is a big yes. I love the way this track makes me feel, and the pace of it is incredible. I love that I can hear Abi, Ebony, Lou and Lewis and I'm able to appreciate everything they're doing on the track. I love how it makes me feel, and it's just insane.

I'm so impressed with this track, and it has exceeded every expectation I had. I love everything about this track, and it's such a strong debut single. If this is the debut single, imagine how incredible some of the next tracks are going to be! I cannot process just how incredible this track is. I'm mind-blown by how great this is, I love everything about this, and this, for me, cements the ideas that Embxrs are one of the bands you all need to watch out for. It's such a surreal track, and it really does pack a punch.

This is one of my favourite recent releases, and if you don't expect me to be playing this at full blast from my car then you're wrong, because this is going to make it onto all my car playlists, and this is going to be one of those songs that never gets skipped because I love it that much! Honestly, when I say I love this song so much, I mean I love this song SO MUCH! Such an insane track, and it's just incredible.

Overall, I have to give Resurrection a solid 5 out of 5 lemons! This is a surreal track and one that I would highly recommend everyone's checks out. This is truly a work of art, and I'm in love with this track. Honestly, just a great track and Embxrs are a great band and one that you really do need to check out! Please, go check this track out and show Embxrs some love, because they really do deserve it!

Empty Streets by Aim High

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! On today’s instalment of Grace rambles about small bands and their latest releases, we have Aim High with their latest single Empty Streets.   Now, we all know I’m a sucker for a good Aim High release, and they always put out belters of tracks!   This track features Driveways, it has a different vibe to previous tracks, but as we've spoken about before, Aim High tend to change their sound with each track, or nearly every track. Never drastic changes, but noticeable. This track is very unique, there's a lot of different tempo changes. There's a noticeable change between the verses and chorus, but it's a sound I'm here for. The bridge in the track is insane.  This is such a great track it's an impactful track. This is honestly a belter. This is such a surreal track, honestly a belter. This may not be my favourite track from Aim High but it's definitely one worth checking out and showing some love about. This is honestly such a

Pink Alligator by Those Without

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today I’m super excited to be talking to you about Pink Alligator by Those Without. Now, Those Without are a band I’ve listened to for a few months and I’ve liked the releases they’ve put out. However, no previous track has got me as hyped as Pink Alligator did.   Knowing what sort of tracks Those Without put out, I was pretty excited for this release, and I had pretty decent expectations.   I want to start off by saying since this track was released, I have been listening to it constantly. Every time I get in the car I'm there putting it on repeat for my drive, everytime I go to listen to music, I'm going to be there listening to this track. I am well and truly obsessed with it. So, when I tell you that this song has blown my mind and really has beaten all expectations I had for it, I mean it.  Pink Alligator has an infectious beat to it, and it's one of the catchiest tracks to be released recently. The tempo changes between the verses a

A Spark To Ignite by Royals

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we're going to be talking about Royals again. Royals went and dropped a new EP on Friday, and I feel like it was something we all needed in our lives.  I  had pretty decent expectations for this EP judging by the 4 tracks we’ve already heard off the EP. I’ve done a full review of Worldwide Catastrophe and Jaded so I won’t be saying much about them, but I never reviewed Fair-Weather Friend and Out of Reach, so I will speak a little about them but probably not the same amount as Gone.   Anyway, the EP opens with Worldwide Catastrophe. This is an absolute belter of a track. This track is surreal. It packs a punch, it does everything you’d want it to do and more. It’s just insane. I absolutely love this track, I loved it when it first released and I love it all the same now. It’s a great song and one I still highly recommend!   The second track is Fair-Weather Friend. This was one of the first tracks released off this EP, and it is an incredibl
