No Way Out by Without Andrew

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today’s post is going to be about Without Andrew and their new track! On Friday (30th April) Without Andrew released their new track, No Way Out.

Now, I’m aware I’ve never featured Without Andrew on the blog before but, I’ve been a fan of theirs for a while now and I think they’re an incredibly talented band.

No Way Out is a great track. The intro starts with a clip from one of the Covid-19 briefings done by the UK government. Which lets be realistic, that’s a pretty cool intro. The instrumental intro is pretty sick too, and yes, I’m not a fan of long intros but because it has that spoken bit I don’t think it’s that long.

It's a pretty fast-paced, angsty song. I'm actually a big fan of the sound of it, and I love the beat of this track, and it offers a very enjoyable and engaging listening experience for the 4 and a half minutes the song lasts for. I don't think there's one element on this track I could criticise. I'm 100% here for this track, and it's one that I instantly love but I know is going to grow on me the more I listen to it. It's insane! It packs a punch and it does everything you want it to do and more.

I think this is a pretty solid track, and I love everything about it. From the lyrics to the different vocals, to the guitar, to the bass to the drums. There's not one bad element and it's just a generally solid track. It's a track that's made me properly fall in love with Without Andrew, and brings into perspective just how underrated they are. If you like pop-punk/punk-rock then this is one for you, because this is insane! It's fast paced, angsty, impactful, and just everything you could want from the track and more. I'm super impressed with it.

Overall, I'd have to give it a solid 5 out of 5 lemons. It's a great track, you can hear the old school, pop-punk/punk-rock influences in the track, and it's just such an enjoyable track to listen to. Please go check out this track, and if you haven't heard of Without Andrew before, then go check out their entire discography.

Empty Streets by Aim High

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! On today’s instalment of Grace rambles about small bands and their latest releases, we have Aim High with their latest single Empty Streets.   Now, we all know I’m a sucker for a good Aim High release, and they always put out belters of tracks!   This track features Driveways, it has a different vibe to previous tracks, but as we've spoken about before, Aim High tend to change their sound with each track, or nearly every track. Never drastic changes, but noticeable. This track is very unique, there's a lot of different tempo changes. There's a noticeable change between the verses and chorus, but it's a sound I'm here for. The bridge in the track is insane.  This is such a great track it's an impactful track. This is honestly a belter. This is such a surreal track, honestly a belter. This may not be my favourite track from Aim High but it's definitely one worth checking out and showing some love about. This is honestly such a

Pink Alligator by Those Without

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today I’m super excited to be talking to you about Pink Alligator by Those Without. Now, Those Without are a band I’ve listened to for a few months and I’ve liked the releases they’ve put out. However, no previous track has got me as hyped as Pink Alligator did.   Knowing what sort of tracks Those Without put out, I was pretty excited for this release, and I had pretty decent expectations.   I want to start off by saying since this track was released, I have been listening to it constantly. Every time I get in the car I'm there putting it on repeat for my drive, everytime I go to listen to music, I'm going to be there listening to this track. I am well and truly obsessed with it. So, when I tell you that this song has blown my mind and really has beaten all expectations I had for it, I mean it.  Pink Alligator has an infectious beat to it, and it's one of the catchiest tracks to be released recently. The tempo changes between the verses a

A Spark To Ignite by Royals

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we're going to be talking about Royals again. Royals went and dropped a new EP on Friday, and I feel like it was something we all needed in our lives.  I  had pretty decent expectations for this EP judging by the 4 tracks we’ve already heard off the EP. I’ve done a full review of Worldwide Catastrophe and Jaded so I won’t be saying much about them, but I never reviewed Fair-Weather Friend and Out of Reach, so I will speak a little about them but probably not the same amount as Gone.   Anyway, the EP opens with Worldwide Catastrophe. This is an absolute belter of a track. This track is surreal. It packs a punch, it does everything you’d want it to do and more. It’s just insane. I absolutely love this track, I loved it when it first released and I love it all the same now. It’s a great song and one I still highly recommend!   The second track is Fair-Weather Friend. This was one of the first tracks released off this EP, and it is an incredibl
