Joel & Clementine by Passionflower

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today I'm talking about a release, that isn't really that new, because I was sent this submission a while back, lost track of time, and the email got buried between various other submissions, so Kyle, I'm sorry. Anyway, Passionflower released their latest track back in March. Today, I'm here to review it.

I will be honest and say I have put off listening to this track, as I wanted to wait to review it before I listened to it. However, I am familiar with the previous tracks from Passionflower, so I had decent expectations for this track.

Joel & Clementine really gripped my attention from the start. The intro is incredibly short, which instantly won me over, and when the vocals kick in it's beautiful. I didn't expect this track to be as good as it is, just from the start, I knew this track was going to win me over.  Everything about this track is incredible, and I'm honestly in love with this track! It's insane. I love the lyrics, the vocal, the guitar, everything about this track is incredible, and I'm blown away by how good it is. Now, I know this track isn't full of major tempo changes, but there are still a few subtle ones within the track, which is good enough for me, because just listening to the track for what it is, is engaging enough.

I know I keep mentioning the vocals, but honestly, the vocals on this track are extraordinary. I'm blown away by them, I can't actually process just how insane the vocals are. This track has exceeded all expectations, and there are so many elements within the track that I love that I'm speechless over how insane this track is. I really am impressed with this track. This is one of the best releases that's come out this year, and I'm now incredibly excited for what comes next for Passionflower. This track is an anthem, it's incredible, and you need to hear it! If you haven't already checked out Joel & Clementine then please, go and check it out so you can understand why I'm blown away by it. This track is one of my favourite sounds, this is the sort of music I wished there was more of. It's honestly, just insane. It's catchy, without sounding like a rip off of so many other tracks, it's still got those pop-punk, emo and rock influences you can hear clearly within it. Honestly, didn't expect this track to be as good as it is. I expected it to be good, but it really has exceeded all expectations.

Overall, I have to give Joel & Clementine a solid 5 out of 5 lemons! It's insane, you need to go check it out! It really is something else. Please, go spare a few minutes of your time to go and check this track out, and then go listen to the previous releases by Passionflower, because, they're proving to be one of the ones to watch out for.

Empty Streets by Aim High

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! On today’s instalment of Grace rambles about small bands and their latest releases, we have Aim High with their latest single Empty Streets.   Now, we all know I’m a sucker for a good Aim High release, and they always put out belters of tracks!   This track features Driveways, it has a different vibe to previous tracks, but as we've spoken about before, Aim High tend to change their sound with each track, or nearly every track. Never drastic changes, but noticeable. This track is very unique, there's a lot of different tempo changes. There's a noticeable change between the verses and chorus, but it's a sound I'm here for. The bridge in the track is insane.  This is such a great track it's an impactful track. This is honestly a belter. This is such a surreal track, honestly a belter. This may not be my favourite track from Aim High but it's definitely one worth checking out and showing some love about. This is honestly such a

Pink Alligator by Those Without

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today I’m super excited to be talking to you about Pink Alligator by Those Without. Now, Those Without are a band I’ve listened to for a few months and I’ve liked the releases they’ve put out. However, no previous track has got me as hyped as Pink Alligator did.   Knowing what sort of tracks Those Without put out, I was pretty excited for this release, and I had pretty decent expectations.   I want to start off by saying since this track was released, I have been listening to it constantly. Every time I get in the car I'm there putting it on repeat for my drive, everytime I go to listen to music, I'm going to be there listening to this track. I am well and truly obsessed with it. So, when I tell you that this song has blown my mind and really has beaten all expectations I had for it, I mean it.  Pink Alligator has an infectious beat to it, and it's one of the catchiest tracks to be released recently. The tempo changes between the verses a

A Spark To Ignite by Royals

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we're going to be talking about Royals again. Royals went and dropped a new EP on Friday, and I feel like it was something we all needed in our lives.  I  had pretty decent expectations for this EP judging by the 4 tracks we’ve already heard off the EP. I’ve done a full review of Worldwide Catastrophe and Jaded so I won’t be saying much about them, but I never reviewed Fair-Weather Friend and Out of Reach, so I will speak a little about them but probably not the same amount as Gone.   Anyway, the EP opens with Worldwide Catastrophe. This is an absolute belter of a track. This track is surreal. It packs a punch, it does everything you’d want it to do and more. It’s just insane. I absolutely love this track, I loved it when it first released and I love it all the same now. It’s a great song and one I still highly recommend!   The second track is Fair-Weather Friend. This was one of the first tracks released off this EP, and it is an incredibl
