Dislike by WRTHLESS

Welcome back to yet another blog post, where I'm talking about another small band. Today we're talking about WRTHLESS and more specifically their new track 'Dislike'. Now, I've been following them on Instagram for a while now, and I think I've heard a couple of their songs previously, however, Dislike, when I was listening to it caught my attention. WRTHLESS also caught my attention because they're Scottish. I think we all know, well if you're a regular around here, that Scottish bands, Notts band and Australian bands have my heart. I love all small bands, but if you're from Notts, Scotland or Australia I 100% will love you a lot.

So, Dislike is an incredible track, and it's got that classic pop-punk vibe to it. I love the vocals on the track (but I think we all expected that) and I love the tempo changes on the track. I like how engaging this track is, and the vocals when it comes to the line "I'm fucking lazy so you can get up and leave" wins me over. I don't think there's one element on this track I dislike, it just packs a punch and does exactly what I want it to do, it's exactly how I want my pop-punk tracks to sound. The Glaswegian accent really adds something to this track, and I'm not just saying that, it's the same observation I make with Misplaced, the Glaswegian accent in terms of accents, is quite a rough one, and it works well on pop-punk tracks, it gives it that bit of something.

This is easily, one of my favourite songs currently, and I'd be surprised if it didn't make it to one of my most listened to tracks this month. I can listen to this on repeat, for hours, and I wouldn't get bored of it. This is a song that's making it onto the playlists I put on when I'm driving, all of them, Dislike is going on them all because it's one of those songs that no matter when it comes on, I'm not going to want to skip it. It's just such an incredible track, it really does do something for me, and I love it so much!

Overall, I think this is an incredible song that everyone needs to hear, if you like your fast-paced pop-punk tracks, that really do pack a punch and that are catchy, then this is the song for you. I cannot recommend going and checking out Dislike by WRTHLESS enough, they're such an incredible band, and one that I believe has a lot of potential. When it comes to my rating, I have to give this track a solid 5 out of 5 lemons! I'm well and truly obsessed with this track, and I'll be listening to it on repeat! I think WRTHLESS might be one of my new favourite bands.

Empty Streets by Aim High

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! On today’s instalment of Grace rambles about small bands and their latest releases, we have Aim High with their latest single Empty Streets.   Now, we all know I’m a sucker for a good Aim High release, and they always put out belters of tracks!   This track features Driveways, it has a different vibe to previous tracks, but as we've spoken about before, Aim High tend to change their sound with each track, or nearly every track. Never drastic changes, but noticeable. This track is very unique, there's a lot of different tempo changes. There's a noticeable change between the verses and chorus, but it's a sound I'm here for. The bridge in the track is insane.  This is such a great track it's an impactful track. This is honestly a belter. This is such a surreal track, honestly a belter. This may not be my favourite track from Aim High but it's definitely one worth checking out and showing some love about. This is honestly such a

Pink Alligator by Those Without

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today I’m super excited to be talking to you about Pink Alligator by Those Without. Now, Those Without are a band I’ve listened to for a few months and I’ve liked the releases they’ve put out. However, no previous track has got me as hyped as Pink Alligator did.   Knowing what sort of tracks Those Without put out, I was pretty excited for this release, and I had pretty decent expectations.   I want to start off by saying since this track was released, I have been listening to it constantly. Every time I get in the car I'm there putting it on repeat for my drive, everytime I go to listen to music, I'm going to be there listening to this track. I am well and truly obsessed with it. So, when I tell you that this song has blown my mind and really has beaten all expectations I had for it, I mean it.  Pink Alligator has an infectious beat to it, and it's one of the catchiest tracks to be released recently. The tempo changes between the verses a

A Spark To Ignite by Royals

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we're going to be talking about Royals again. Royals went and dropped a new EP on Friday, and I feel like it was something we all needed in our lives.  I  had pretty decent expectations for this EP judging by the 4 tracks we’ve already heard off the EP. I’ve done a full review of Worldwide Catastrophe and Jaded so I won’t be saying much about them, but I never reviewed Fair-Weather Friend and Out of Reach, so I will speak a little about them but probably not the same amount as Gone.   Anyway, the EP opens with Worldwide Catastrophe. This is an absolute belter of a track. This track is surreal. It packs a punch, it does everything you’d want it to do and more. It’s just insane. I absolutely love this track, I loved it when it first released and I love it all the same now. It’s a great song and one I still highly recommend!   The second track is Fair-Weather Friend. This was one of the first tracks released off this EP, and it is an incredibl
