Introducing: Us.

Welcome back to another introducing post, it feels like a while since I've done one of these.

Today I want to introduce you to the American band Us. They dropped me an email, and by now I think we all know that it's me and I was more than happy to take on a new band! I did intend on actually doing this post last week, but uni consumed me but anyway, here we are!

Us have a few tracks out on Soundcloud with more music on the horizon, and I've got to say I'm pretty stoked for it!

As always, I didn't really know what to expect from Us. when they dropped me an email, but I've got to say upon listening to their tracks I'm actually pretty impressed. I'm not saying that Us. is a band that I would reach for all the time, but they have a very summary/fresh vibe to them, they definitely have a bit of an edge to them. I'd say if you were a fan of the band Prime that I've mentioned on the blog before, then you'd probably actually really like Us. they're a pretty impressive band, with a sound that isn't oversaturated in the industry. It's a really refreshing sound to hear, and it's actually a really nice sound that compliments the vocals on the tracks. It's harmonious, and it works.

It's a light sound, a summer sound, a sound that is almost soothing, and all the tracks have the same vibe. Some a little heavier than others, although they all mainly have the same sound, and they all have the same sort of vibe, the tracks are still distinguishable from another.

I'd have to say my favourite track they've got on Soundcloud is The Children Are Home just because the vibes it gives off are more so the vibes I would personally gravitate towards. However, I do appreciate all of these tracks, and they're all still good, but that one would have to be my favourite of them all. Nevertheless, I am still intrigued to see what they come out with next, and I have been told new music is coming, so if you like what you hear when you check them out, then why not give them a follow and keep your eyes and ears open for when they announce more things!

Overall I'm pleasantly surprised, and impressed with Us. They're a decent band, and one worthy of checking out and seeing if they're your vibe. Overall, I'd give the band a 4 out of 5 lemons! I'm here for the sound. Got high hopes for whats to come next!

Misplaced have returned with another track! This one titled 'ffs'. Of course, I'm a massive fan of Misplaced, so I was super hyped for it to drop!  So, of course, I knew what I was to expect from a Misplaced release. They really didn't disappoint with this release.  ffs is an incredible track, that had my attention from the first few second. It engages you like their previous releases it's just as good as the likes of 'fuck that, i'm alright' and 'idk why i try'. It's an insane track that packs that punch that you'd expect from Misplaced.  This track is phenomenal! It's mind-blowing. It's that good that I don't understand how they haven't blown up yet, this track is everything! It's incredible! It's everything you could want and more from a Misplaced track! The chorus on this track is incredible. The bridge, the verses, the drums, the guitar, the vocals! Everything on this track is next level, and the lyrics even g
