Too Far by Good Hustles

Good Hustles are back, and I love that they've released three tracks since September. That's a song every other month currently, and I wish more bands could give me that level of content, but also we're in the middle of a global pandemic, things are difficult.

Anyway, going into this track, the questions we're looking at are;

- Can Good Hustles yet again outdo themselves?

- Is Too Far going to be anywhere near as good as Smile and Coffee?

Well, let's get into this, and talk about Too Far.

Now, we all know Harvey (Good Hustles' drummer) is one of my favourite people in the entire world, and I think he's a surreal drummer but when he sent me this track to listen to, I was fairly excited but also very nervous because Coffee and Smile were such solid tracks that I didn't think Too Far could be THAT good, because I mean, three bangers in a row? That's a challenge. Especially when a song needs to top the previous release in order to not be underwhelming.

I was pleasantly surprised with Too Far, listening to the intro I was like "Eh, I guess this is alright not my favourite though" and then it kicked in, and my brain exited my skull. The vocals are out of this world, and of course, the drums! Incredible! I love how the chorus really packs a punch, and I love the intensity of this track.

I think it's a track with a lot of energy, and it's insane! Honestly, in love with it! I love the bridge, I love that it's a song you can easily listen to 100 times and not be bored, honestly, such a great track!

The way Morton sings the chorus produces the same reaction as emo kids hearing the g note. The intensity of this track is incredible, and I love the sound Good Hustles are going for!

I love this track so much, and I'll be surprised if it doesn't make it into my top 5 songs of the month, it's incredible, cannot find one flaw in the track.

So, to go back to the questions I set out at the start;

Yes, Good Hustles can outdo themselves, because they have, and they're setting the standard higher and higher every time.

Yes, Too Far is just as good as Smile and Coffee, such an incredible track and I the vibe of this track is incredible!

I cannot fault this track, and I'm blown away with it. I think it's an incredible track and one that you definitely need to go and check out! If you haven't heard it already, then go check it out now! It's insane! Cannot recommend it enough!

Overall, a solid 5 out of 5 lemons! It's great, and I would give it higher if I could. I love this track, and you NEED to go and check it out!

Empty Streets by Aim High

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! On today’s instalment of Grace rambles about small bands and their latest releases, we have Aim High with their latest single Empty Streets.   Now, we all know I’m a sucker for a good Aim High release, and they always put out belters of tracks!   This track features Driveways, it has a different vibe to previous tracks, but as we've spoken about before, Aim High tend to change their sound with each track, or nearly every track. Never drastic changes, but noticeable. This track is very unique, there's a lot of different tempo changes. There's a noticeable change between the verses and chorus, but it's a sound I'm here for. The bridge in the track is insane.  This is such a great track it's an impactful track. This is honestly a belter. This is such a surreal track, honestly a belter. This may not be my favourite track from Aim High but it's definitely one worth checking out and showing some love about. This is honestly such a

Pink Alligator by Those Without

  Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today I’m super excited to be talking to you about Pink Alligator by Those Without. Now, Those Without are a band I’ve listened to for a few months and I’ve liked the releases they’ve put out. However, no previous track has got me as hyped as Pink Alligator did.   Knowing what sort of tracks Those Without put out, I was pretty excited for this release, and I had pretty decent expectations.   I want to start off by saying since this track was released, I have been listening to it constantly. Every time I get in the car I'm there putting it on repeat for my drive, everytime I go to listen to music, I'm going to be there listening to this track. I am well and truly obsessed with it. So, when I tell you that this song has blown my mind and really has beaten all expectations I had for it, I mean it.  Pink Alligator has an infectious beat to it, and it's one of the catchiest tracks to be released recently. The tempo changes between the verses a

A Spark To Ignite by Royals

  Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we're going to be talking about Royals again. Royals went and dropped a new EP on Friday, and I feel like it was something we all needed in our lives.  I  had pretty decent expectations for this EP judging by the 4 tracks we’ve already heard off the EP. I’ve done a full review of Worldwide Catastrophe and Jaded so I won’t be saying much about them, but I never reviewed Fair-Weather Friend and Out of Reach, so I will speak a little about them but probably not the same amount as Gone.   Anyway, the EP opens with Worldwide Catastrophe. This is an absolute belter of a track. This track is surreal. It packs a punch, it does everything you’d want it to do and more. It’s just insane. I absolutely love this track, I loved it when it first released and I love it all the same now. It’s a great song and one I still highly recommend!   The second track is Fair-Weather Friend. This was one of the first tracks released off this EP, and it is an incredibl
