Moving Mountains by Holygood

Holygood are once again out here proving that they are a band to be paying close attention to, as they have released yet another solid track!

I've said it before, and I will say it again, I love how much music Holygood have been churning out recently. We all know I'm a big fan of Holygood, and I will never not be excited about them releasing new music.

So, this time we have a softer track, that being Moving Mountains.

Yes, I know it takes a lot for me to rate a soft track, but Holygood can pull off anything so I had no doubts in this track.

It's the softest track we've had from the band, but it's still just as equally good as the previous tracks. The vocals are so beautiful, and the emotion in Tohm's voice! Honestly, it's something else.

Now, although it is a soft track, it's not a boring release. There's still an edge to it, and we all know that's crucial to my enjoyment of a track! I didn't really expect to have many thoughts on this track because I knew it was going to be a soft track, but I'm still a pretty big fan of the track. It's maybe not a song I'd reach for in my manic moments, but when I'm in a rut, and I want slow, soft, songs to comfort me, this is definitely a track I will reach for!

I know for a fact I'm going to be listening to this track a lot currently, and I'd be surprised if it didn't sit next to Bath Salts in my most listened to tracks currently. It's truly a beautiful track, and I love it so much! It's a phenomenal track, and it's so easy to listen to on repeat. It's a track I don't see myself getting sad of quickly, and it's probably going to be like some of those classic sad songs you listen to in depressing times, like Clairvoyant by The Story So Far. It's just an incredible track.

I love the range of tracks we have from Holygood, if you want some angsty, angry tracks they've got them! You want a soft song? They've got it. You want a song that's in the middle and just gets you pumped up but isn't angsty? They've got it. You want something that almost confuses your brain with different elements? Guess what? Holygood have got it!

I love this track, and I think it's incredible. It's a song that especially during my current rut, I'm going to be listening to a lot! I love it, and I think it's such a perfect track. It's flawless, it's everything you expect and more. Honestly, I love it!

Overall, I'd give it a solid 5 out of 5 lemons like all their other releases! It's great! Honestly, it's a masterpiece. I cannot recommend this track to you enough. Please go check it out and show it some love, and if you've never checked out Holygood before, then show them some love and support because they really do deserve it!

Empty Streets by Aim High

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! On today’s instalment of Grace rambles about small bands and their latest releases, we have Aim High with their latest single Empty Streets.   Now, we all know I’m a sucker for a good Aim High release, and they always put out belters of tracks!   This track features Driveways, it has a different vibe to previous tracks, but as we've spoken about before, Aim High tend to change their sound with each track, or nearly every track. Never drastic changes, but noticeable. This track is very unique, there's a lot of different tempo changes. There's a noticeable change between the verses and chorus, but it's a sound I'm here for. The bridge in the track is insane.  This is such a great track it's an impactful track. This is honestly a belter. This is such a surreal track, honestly a belter. This may not be my favourite track from Aim High but it's definitely one worth checking out and showing some love about. This is honestly such a

Pink Alligator by Those Without

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today I’m super excited to be talking to you about Pink Alligator by Those Without. Now, Those Without are a band I’ve listened to for a few months and I’ve liked the releases they’ve put out. However, no previous track has got me as hyped as Pink Alligator did.   Knowing what sort of tracks Those Without put out, I was pretty excited for this release, and I had pretty decent expectations.   I want to start off by saying since this track was released, I have been listening to it constantly. Every time I get in the car I'm there putting it on repeat for my drive, everytime I go to listen to music, I'm going to be there listening to this track. I am well and truly obsessed with it. So, when I tell you that this song has blown my mind and really has beaten all expectations I had for it, I mean it.  Pink Alligator has an infectious beat to it, and it's one of the catchiest tracks to be released recently. The tempo changes between the verses a

A Spark To Ignite by Royals

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we're going to be talking about Royals again. Royals went and dropped a new EP on Friday, and I feel like it was something we all needed in our lives.  I  had pretty decent expectations for this EP judging by the 4 tracks we’ve already heard off the EP. I’ve done a full review of Worldwide Catastrophe and Jaded so I won’t be saying much about them, but I never reviewed Fair-Weather Friend and Out of Reach, so I will speak a little about them but probably not the same amount as Gone.   Anyway, the EP opens with Worldwide Catastrophe. This is an absolute belter of a track. This track is surreal. It packs a punch, it does everything you’d want it to do and more. It’s just insane. I absolutely love this track, I loved it when it first released and I love it all the same now. It’s a great song and one I still highly recommend!   The second track is Fair-Weather Friend. This was one of the first tracks released off this EP, and it is an incredibl
