So What's The Noise? February Edition

So here I am trying to make this thing a series on here!

So since the last post we've had Twin Atlantic drop a new album, we've had new Trophy Eyes, new Four Year Strong, and Hot Milk even blessed our ears again with their new track June Gloom. Boston Manor also dropped a new song. There hasn't been much new music but I tend to find that's the case at the start of the year.

However, You Me At Six are apparently dropping new music this week! There's a new Four Year Strong album coming out at the end of the month.

The Mocking Jays have been annouced as the support for Black Cats and Magpies in April. Over half of Twin Atlantic's march tour is sold out so if you haven't got your tickets yet get them in!

I'm pretty certain I saw somewhere about the mocks being in the studio again and yeah. Although the past month has been kinda dry in music, it's starting to pick up again and I think there's going to be big things coming in the next few months.

Also, A Day To Remember are coming back to the UK in May which is great! Really want to go just it's a lot of money to find currently. But yeah, things are heating up in the music industry again! So let's hope these things to come are as exciting as we all anticipate.

Single Review: Out Of My Mind by AVAERA

So AVAERA are here and they’ve released their first single!
The used to be Stop The Rain but they rebranded and I’m here for it because If you know me then you know Stop The Rain had a special place in my heart.
But the new single is out and it slaps!
The new single is titled Out Of My Mind and honestly yes. What a tune!

I've been obsessed with it since it came out, and we all know I'm a sucker for a good Scottish band because Scottish accents. So, let's talk about this track.

It's got a proper catchy tune, and it's one of the most infectious songs I've heard in a long time.

It's one of them songs that once you've heard it once, you have to listen to it another 100 times before you can take a break from listening to it.

It's currently my most listened to track, and that says a lot because there's been a lot of newness recently.

It's a perfect song, and I don't often say that a song is perfect, but Out of My Mind is very much perfection.…

Single Review: What You Want by Home Wrecked

Home Wrecked have just released their new single What You Want. Spoiler alert: it slaps. Home Wrecked are a relatively new band to me, I only discovered them about 2 months ago, but I honestly love them! One of my favourite things about this track is the progression and depth in the sound. It sounds on the heavier side of pop-punk whilst also sounding very classic pop-punk at the same time. There's just something about it that's unique and that sets them apart from the rest!

It's a very catchy track, and it's a song that's going to be stuck in my head when I stop listening to it. It sounds heavy whilst not actually being that heavy, but I love that. I would compare it to Four Year Strong and Chunk! No Captain Chunk! and in that retrospect, I guess I'm branding it as easycore, but it's so good!

I find it quite refreshing to hear this song in the pop-punk scene when a lot of bands are switching to a more mainstream, poppier sound, which isn't bad, but it…
