New In Notts: Fast Car to Florence and Near Mrs

So, we're back with a new in Notts post, since both Fast Car To Florence and Near Mrs have blessed our ears once again. Fast Car To Florence  Cry isn't officially released until Friday (28th February 2020) however, it is up on YouTube if you want to listen early, and I'm trying to keep on top of all these blog posts, so we're going to be talking about it today. So this is officially the start of the new era of Fast Car To Florence, but I still love this band so much! And we shall continue to support FCTF here until either this blog ends or the band does because they were the first Notts band I worked with, and it's because of them that I found all these other bands I work with now, so thank you Fast Car for making my dreams more of a reality. So, this isn't a whole new song, there's no adjustment needed. It's like Address The World but better. This is honestly such an incredible song, and from the first few seconds, I knew I was going to love

Single Review: Lonely by Four Thousand Miles

So rewind a month and I got a DM off a band that I actually replied to, I know me replying to messages, shocking. But I was intrigued because they're a band with four thousand miles between them, there's 2 members from the UK, one from England and one from Wales, there's one from France and then another from America! Which is obviously quite interesting because that's something that you don't see often. So of course, I had to offer them a review! And I am so thankful they accepted the offer because I'm blown away! So, Four Thousand Miles are an international rock band who released their first single on Friday (14th February) and like I always do, I stayed up until midnight to listen to it and I was blown away! It's catchy, very catchy. I mean I was sending it to most of the people I was talking to and making them listen to it, that's when you know I love a song a lot. Some lines hit me in places I forgot lyrics could hit me, it's such a bea

So What's The Noise? February Edition

So here I am trying to make this thing a series on here! So since the last post we've had Twin Atlantic drop a new album, we've had new Trophy Eyes, new Four Year Strong, and Hot Milk even blessed our ears again with their new track June Gloom. Boston Manor also dropped a new song. There hasn't been much new music but I tend to find that's the case at the start of the year. However, You Me At Six are apparently dropping new music this week! There's a new Four Year Strong album coming out at the end of the month. The Mocking Jays have been annouced as the support for Black Cats and Magpies in April. Over half of Twin Atlantic's march tour is sold out so if you haven't got your tickets yet get them in! I'm pretty certain I saw somewhere about the mocks being in the studio again and yeah. Although the past month has been kinda dry in music, it's starting to pick up again and I think there's going to be big things coming in the next few months. Also,

Live Review: Twin Atlantic at Metronome

Band - Twin Atlantic Date - 27.01.2020 Location - Metronome, Nottingham Last week Notts welcomed Twin Atlantic back into the city. It'd been a while since Twin Atlantic had been in Nottingham, and to be in such a small capacity venue (similar to the likes of Rescue Rooms capacity wise) and for them to be doing a signing afterwards was great to see. The set was only 45 minutes long and to say that Sam and Ross were unwell at the time you wouldn't have thought so. They pushed on and got through the set and were still up for meeting fans after the show. The setlist consisted of; Oh! Euphoria! Novocaine No Sleep Make A Beast Of Myself Volcano Brothers and Sisters Barcelona Heart and Soul The set was short and sweet and it was a good variety if you think that they've just released a new album there were 4 songs from POWER, one from Free, one from GLA and two from Great Divide. It was a great show with a lot of energy and to say that I don't see bigge
