Anticipated Releases for 2020

So it's a new year and there's a lot of bands releasing new music this year so I'm going to give a quick little lowdown on which ones I'm most excited for.

Twin Atlantic - They are dropping their new album on Friday so there will be a review of that of course. But them being my favourite band means I'm quite excited for it especially since it's been more than 3 years since GLA.

A Day To Remember - ADTR were supposed to release their new album You're Welcome last year but they pushed it back, but that means it'll be dropping this year so let's hope for the best because some new ADTR would be great since it's also been over 3 years since Bad Vibrations.

Deaf Havana - Now they didn't say what would drop this year, but a while ago one of the members said on Instagram about how they would be releasing some new music this year probably the later end of the year and it could just be a single but the Rituals era has officially ended now so the new e…

So, What's The Noise? January Edition

So, What's The Noise? is going to be a new series on my blog, where I'm going to talk about all things music, brands that are recording, new music that's come out, what's been announced, and all sorts of things like that. This isn't a review structured series either, this is simply talking about all things new in music. Both big and small bands, both local and not.

So let's get into what's came out recently...

Obviously, with it being Christmas and new year, there hasn't been a lot of music coming out, however, at the start of December Twin Atlantic released Barcelona, on the same day Mayday Parade also released a Christmas song called I'm With You and Fading Blonde released 25 a few days later. Then on New Year's Eve one of the favourites here at LifeIsALemon, Don't Forget Rupert released a new EP, however calling it new is slightly overexaggerating. They re-released their old songs, but they'd been improved, we got Long Time Coming, Blin…

The Albums That Shaped The Last Decade

Okay, so I’m back! This post is very much just personal opinion but I’m going to include some cult classics for many emo kids and my personal ones too. So let’s get into this πŸ€™πŸ»
Collide With The Sky by Pierce The Veil. A classic for lil emo kids, including Bulls In The Bronx and King For A Day I think a lot of people can agree this was a cult classic and a must-have.
Let’s Cheers to This by Sleeping With Sirens. Again like CWTS it’s a cult classic and an emo staple. I was more of a SWS kids rather than PTV but I loved them both. It was the soundtrack to my emo days that I really haven’t left.
Free by Twin Atlantic. This was such a staple for me and it was the album that got me into Twin and I haven’t really looked back since. It’s just such a classic in my opinion from Free to Cherry Slut to We Want Better, Man (which personally I still think is very relevant).
Fools and Worthless Liars by Deaf Havana. What an album! You’ve got I’m A Bore, Mostly and Youth In Retrospect, The Past S…
