Single Review: Just Smile by Fast Car To Florence

Fast Car came back with a new bop AND OH MY GOSH JUST YES. It may be better than their last single, and that was A BOP. This is like a next level bop.

The new single is called Just Smile (sorry boys, I don't smile a lot) AND NOT ONLY IS IT INCREDIBLE SOUND WISE but them lyrics... yes... yes. 100% yes. It's so good.
It's definitely got an edge to it, and it's such a catchy sound. I'd say it's the best song they've done to date, but it does still sound like Fast Car (don't worry, it's not a moment where we cry because a band changed their sound).
It came out at midnight yesterday (13th of January) and yes okay, there hasn't been that much time, but it's pretty much all I've been listening to.
Well done to Chris, Mike and Isaac but can I just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful the vocals are on this track? Just... it's one of those songs where you can pick out what each member has contributed and you can appreciate every aspect of the song.
Fast Car are an indie rock band in retrospect but this song doesn't sound like every other indie song. It's not one of them copycat songs, it's notably different from the crowd. It does still 100% have a vibe similar to the likes of The 1975 but it is different. It's still got that little something that makes it stand out from the crowd.
Also Isaac has like a tiny scream at the end, and you don't know you need that until you hear it. In all honesty, that's my entire feeling with this song, like yes I love Fast Car. I rank them as one of the best smaller bands, and one of the best local bands. But this song just makes me fall in love with them all over again.
Don't want to get into personal stuff on this blog, but this song is what I needed currently. Like lyrically, I needed this song. It's like a warm fuzzy hug. Like thank you.
The song is definitely incredible, and it's one of the first releases of the year in my music world, and it really doesn't disappoint. It's incredible.
If you haven't heard it then go and listen to it now! It's so good! And listen to the lyrics, and just yes. Listen to it, and if you like it, love it or appreciate it then show the guys some love because they deserve it. This song is incredible and it deserves lots of love and appreciation. All their links will below like normal.
Overall Just Smile gets a solid 5 and a half lemons out of 5 BECAUSE WHAT A BOP!!!
So yeah, check it out, show it some love, show Fast Car some love and just appreciate how golden the song is.

What's Left For Us? by All Over Again

Welcome/welcome back to another blog post! Today I'm talking about All Over Again, who are a Nottingham alt-rock band! We all know, that I love alt-rock and I love Notts bands! I'm very enthusiastic about bands from my city, so I was more than happy to do some coverage on this EP when I got an email asking if I'd be willing to do a post about it. So, here we are. All Over Again released an EP yesterday (30th April), and I'm going to be talking about my thoughts on the tracks!  The first track on the EP is, Breathe Me In which was the first track released from the EP. It starts off quite slow, but it builds up, and I love that. Grace has a beautiful voice, and I love that there are tempo changes throughout the song, because at this point, anybody that's read my reviews before, knows that's the one thing that makes me fall in love with a track. I think this is such an incredible track, it's beautiful, I love everything about this track, I think it's incr

Loughborough to Lichfield by Next Year

Welcome/welcome back to the blog! Today we're going to be talking about Next Year's latest release Loughborough to Lichfield, which was released last Friday (April 30th). Now, I have worked with Next Year before. I reviewed Long Way Home back when that dropped last year. This is the follow-up single to said release, and because of how much I loved Long Way Home, I was apprehensive about hearing this track, just because I've loved everything they've put out previously, so it's that moment of "Is this going to be as good as, worse or better than the rest of the discography?". However, upon listening to it, it was clear to see that this was living up to expectations.  It has a loud, anthemic intro, it's not overly long, and it managed to keep my attention for the intro, which is essential to me. I need the start and end of any release to grab my attention to leave a decent impression. So, yeah, I was pretty impressed with the intro, it was very classic po
