Single Review: Get Fucked by Don't Forget Rupert

Get Fucked by Don't Forget Rupert
get fucked
(Click me if you want to be audibly and visually blessed)
So let's start with the song because I haven't explained my thoughts on this song in depth.
Get Fucked is a B O P
Honestly, this song kinda just hit me and I'm left like "Well okay then, thanks for that".
There's not one element of this song I can dislike since it came out I've loved it and it has a lot of potential to make it into the best of 2018 post I'll be doing at the end of the year...
Between the sound and the lyrics we have a very well rounded song. But it's a song that makes me want to scream, and they're the sort of songs I love way too much.
It's catchy, it's infectious, it makes you want to scream... They really have hit the nail on the head with this song, but if you know me, then you know that I will argue that this is one of their best songs.
Moving swiftly onto the video,
HOW CAN YOU NOT APPRECIATE THIS VIDEO
I love when bands do music videos where it's live footage, the video is comparable to the likes of Fall Into The Party by Twin Atlantic in retrospect, because you have the live performances, and you've also got the behind the scenes. Which I like... because then it's more than just watch a band perform a song on stage... it's got a little extra something. I like the video a lot, and considering the song is Get fucked, I do think the video fits well with the song, and it's well balanced between on stage and behind the scenes.
I like the video, I like how it compliments the song. I like the song. I like the overall fact that Get Fucked now has a video.
Overall, I'm going to rate it 5 out of 5 lemons. It is a decent song, and if you haven't check it out then why not go and do that!

Wishful Thinking by Near Mrs

Welcome back to another blog post! Today I'm going to be talking about Near Mrs' latest track Wishful Thinking which only dropped today (11th February). Although this song has only just dropped, I was kindly sent the track a few weeks back by the lads in Near Mrs and as always, I'm bringing you my thoughts on it!  Now, I can tell you this track is incredible, I thought that the first time I heard it, and I still think that now. This track absolute slaps, and that chorus is extraordinary! The vocals, the lyrics, the guitar, the drums, the bass, everything about this track is a massive yes! I'm a firm believer that Near Mrs are one of the best local bands, and this track is proof of that, as if the past 4 singles haven't been enough proof. Honestly, such an incredible band and this song is just something else!  The riffs, the intro, the outro, the change within the sound, those bits that make your brain go "oh shit, they really did that". When I say you all

Drown by Cherry Bleach

Welcome back to the blog, and as you may be able to tell, I am welcoming another new band to the blog! Today's band is Cherry Bleach! Fun fact, just before they reached out to me and asked if I wanted to work with them, I was actually contemplating dropping them a message to see if they wanted to work with me. Anyway, they reached out and asked if I wanted to work with them and do a post on their new single Drown, and of course, this is me so I said yes!  Now, Cherry Bleach are a 4 piece psychedelic grunge band from Aberdeen, Scotland. They consist of;  Alisha Wilkie -Vocals and Rhythm Guitar Ewan Watson - Bass Thomas Reid - Lead Guitar George Hudson - Drums So, on Friday 29th of January, Cherry Bleach released their latest track, Drown! Now, not to generalise but songs with drown in the title tend to be pretty solid.  So, this track is a lot softer than I expected, I was expecting this to be a lot more aggressive and in your face, but it's actually a lot softer, and quite po

Desensitized by The Ones You Forgot

Welcome back to the bog once again, where again, I'm talking about a new release by a new band. This is a band I've only mentioned once before on the blog, but The Ones You Forgot were lovely enough to allow me to do this post, so I thought that now was the perfect time to properly talk about them.  The Ones You Forgot released their latest track Desensitized on Friday the 5th and just like their previous releases this song is a belter! Now, this song is incredible, from the intro you expect this to be a slow track, but in reality, it's a pretty fast-paced, incredible track.  The vocals on this track are so beautiful, they're enough to win anybody over, and the lyrics that accompany the vocals, just yes! Incredible! This song is a massive win just off those two elements alone. The drums, guitar and bass on this track are also incredible, and I'm just in love with this track.  This is a track that I knew I'd like but didn't expect to be this in love with. H
