Song Review: Whirlpool by Distant Blue

Whirlpool by Distant Blue If you follow me on Twitter, then you may know that I love Distant Blue, I think they're great. I don't know if it's because they're pop-punk and I'm a sucker for pop-punk, or if it's because they're a local band. But either way, I love them a lot. On Friday, Distant Blue dropped a new song. Yes, it was a big day for music, but as soon as it turned midnight, the first song I went to listen to was Whirlpool, because I was really hyped for it. This is probably down to the fact that Amber Leaf has been in my most listened to tracks for two months now I think... and when I say it's been in there, I mean it's been right up in the top 5. So, of course, I was super hyped for Whirlpool and it didn't disappoint. I want to listen to Whirlpool all day every day on repeat. Like, what is this beauty? Whirlpool is a masterpiece. My tiny little, not so little, baby piggle even reacted to it... I can't tell if she loved it or

Music Review: You Me At Six and Deaf Havana

So bands have been dropping new music here, there and everywhere. And I am 100% down with it, although my bank account isn't with all the new albums. You Me At Six You Me At Six are back! They are back and they're announced their next album VI and I'm super hyped for it. However, to go along with the announcement they dropped 2 new songs. Yes, TWO! And if you haven't heard them yet, how? The new songs are phenomenal. Let's start with 3AM. 3AM gives me such Night People vibes, and I love it. Lyrically, this song is just a masterpiece, but, I mean it's a masterpiece in every way. It's such a good song. The roots of the song are definitely You Me At Six, there is no doubt that it's a You Me At Six song, but it's bigger, bolder and better.if you like You Me At Six, then you'll like 3AM. To go with 3AM, they released the big edgy brother... Fast Forward. I think Fast Forward is my favourite of the two, it's very much the edgy brother to

10 Songs I Love Currently

These aren't necessarily my most listened to song currently but they are the songs I'm hooked on currently. Some are new, some aren't. Some are by bands I've just got into, some are longer term bands in my life. Hit By A Car by Scouting For Girls, I love Scouting For Girls and I've been listening to Ten Add Ten a lot recently considering they're my happy band. Wonder of the World by Scouting For Girls. Again one of the 'add ten' songs from Ten Add Ten, I love it and it's a song that makes me think about some of the good things in life. Amber Leaf by Distant Blue, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't discover Distant Blue because of The Mocking Jays, but I've gotta say, it's a right tune. Go check it out. Where I Want To Be by The Dangerous Summer. I saw these guys at Slam Dunk and I thought they were pretty good at Slam Dunk, and I don't know what their setlist was because I hadn't listened to them before, but I do reall
